EVERYONE is invited to the “Step into Auction” Church Fundraiser
With an arm’s long list of unique items and services that includes a guided llama walk in the Smokies, a fly fishing lesson/excursion, cooking lessons, an airplane ride, getaways, wine pairings and ethnic dinners, a back porch summer soiree on the river that will feature a trout dinner, works by local artisans among the offerings up for bid, the “Step into Auction” promises to be a fun filled evening.
The entire community is invited to attend the Oak Ridge Unitarian Universalist Church (ORUUC) and Foothills Unitarian Universalist Fellowship fundraiser on Friday, May 19 from 6pm to 9:30 pm in the Social Hall of ORUUC located at 809 Oak Ridge Turnpike. Entry is $5 for adults. Children are free.
Music from ORUUC’s own “Bifolkals” will kick off the evening. Then it’s on to hors d’oeuvres, magic performed by Nick Roberts, door prizes and silent and live auctions. Drinks will be available for purchase.
Proceeds raised from the live and silent auctions will help support various ministries of ORUUC and Foothills Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.
Auctioneer Bear Stephenson will be on hand to lead the Live Auction. Bear’s knack to engage and energize attendees always adds loads of fun and fellowship to a fundraiser event.
