Sunday Morning Worship: Water Communion: Let’s Reconstitute Our Community

  • Oak Ridge Unitarian Universalist Church 809 Oak Ridge Turnpike Oak Ridge, TN, 37830 United States (map)

The water communion has deep roots in Unitarian Universalism. At this annual ritual celebration, the EMBERS (Earth Mindfulness Based on Earth Religions and Spirituality) group will lead the congregation in a service of joy and community. We’ll honor the ORUUC tradition of calling forth waters and associated energy from the four directions. All are joyously welcome!

Join us this Sunday morning for our August worship series, “Discernment.” Worship begins at 10 a.m. in person and on Zoom. To participate in worship on Zoom, please register here https://zoom.us/.../tJArf-CvrT4iHtIsgktTYAWotY75rmxi5V78.... If you've already registered (a one-time process), use the link you received via email to attend worship.

After worship, join us for coffee and treats in the Social Hall, and check out our Faith Formation classes for Adults and Youth from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The Reflections group hosts a conversation on the sermon topic every Sunday during the Faith Formation Hour in the conference room. All are welcome to join in. Nursery is available during that time.

Covid-19 Update: Masks are not required in the building. We encourage everyone to do what makes them feel comfortable.

All are welcome! We look forward to seeing you!
