How does Online Giving Work?
Just click on the GIVE NOW button above, or at the bottom of this page, to get started. If you would like additional information about online giving, please view the appropriate video below. There are also step-by-step instructions at the bottom of the page that should provide you with all you need to ensure your generous donation is processed properly.
ORUUC - Giving as a Member
ORUUC - Giving as a Guest or Visitor
Enter the amount that you wish to give, then select the fund to which your gift will be applied. You can choose any of the funds, including Plate, Pledge, or any one of the targeted giving funds, such as the Minister’s Discretionary Fund.
Your email address is needed so that the system can send you a receipt for your gift.
If you have an ORUUC Realm account, you will be asked for the password to that account. You will then be logged in and see the following screen. Note that you can set up recurring payments if you choose to do so. The example below is a contribution of $3.00 to the Split-the-Plate fund of the Sunday offering, and will occur every Sunday until such time as you choose to change the frequency or amount of the gift. The first time you use this feature, you will be prompted for the payment method you wish to use. After that, it will be remembered.
If you do not have an ORUUC Realm account, you will be taken to the following screen to supply basic contact and payment method information. As with text-to-give, you may pay via credit/debit card, checking account, or savings account. Note that there is no recurring option with this method of payment; you must have an ORUUC Realm account to make a recurring contribution. Please contact the church office for information on how to set up your Realm account.
Once your donation or fee has been processed, you will receive an email notification confirming the transaction. You will continue to receive your annual contribution statements in the mail as you have in the past, and your online contributions will appear on these statements.
If you have an ORUUC Realm account, you will be able to view all of your contribution history at any time and print a contribution statement if you wish.
